TRIM THE TREE

This fortnights challenge over at Lets Craft & Create is "Trim The Tree".

For this challenge I have made a quilted bauble.  Even though there was alot of cutting, ironing and pinning I had alot of fun making this.  If you would like to have a go at making one of these check this tutorial out at http://crafterwithoutacat.blogspot.com/2009/08/ornament-tutorial.html.  This is not the only tutorial I looked at.  There are many other tutorials out there and many variations.

Please come on over and check out our blog and join in the fun.

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

Another fortnight has come around quickly (and I still have not made a start on my Christmas cards).  Maybe this week.

This fortnight challenge over at Let's Craft & Create is Reuse, Renew, Recycle.

For this challenge I wanted to make something a little different so I decided to reuse a pre-decimal New Zealand stamp and make it into a necklace.

Sorry for the poor quality of the necklace photo but the light was not good.

I am looking forward to you coming over and joining in on the challenge.  See you there.

ANNIVERSARY

Can you believe it is 61 days to Christmas.  Not sure where the days are going and speaking of that it is time to get creating for our next challenge over at Let's Craft & Create.  This fortnights challenge is Anniversary.

For this challenge I have made a Wedding Anniversary card using a combination of cuttlebug and sizzix embossing folders and dies.  I have added a bit of colour to the heart using chalk.  I finished it off with a scalloped edge some ribbon from Ribbon Girl and flower, pearls and pin from my stash.

Please come on over at check out the other design teams creations and join in our challenge.

ONE FOR THE KIDS

Challenge #30 over at Let's Craft & Create this fortnight is titled "One For The Kids".

For my entry I have made a card using a digital image and paper (blue) from The Paper Shelter. I have added glossy accents to the number 5 to make it stand out.  To embellish I have used some twine to make a lasoo and the stars are stacking star dies from Dies To Die For.  Words have been computer generated.

Felt - Challenge #29

Not sure where the weeks are going at the moment.  Can't believe we are onto the next challenge already.  This fortnight over at Let's Craft & Create the challenge is FELT.

I have made a thankyou card and I also made a pair of hair clips.  All the flowers on these two projects were made using a scallop border.

Please come on over and check out our blog or better still, join in the fun.  We would love to see the creations you come up with.

HOW CHARMING

The fortnightly challenge over at Let's Craft and Create is HOW CHARMING.

For this challenge I have made some wine glass charms so you will never lose your wine glass again.

These have been made by covering buttons and then attaching them to charm rings.
